Welcome to Dawn Putney Blogs. The intended purpose of this blog is to discuss, rant and rave about design and marketing happening in Northern Colorado. The quality of design created in our neck of the woods has always been very good, but we have moved on to really, really, really good. There is great work by local favorites that have been around for several years like Paul Jensen's group at One Tribe [http://www.onetribecreative.com], the gang at Wirestone [http://www.wirestone.com] and the brilliant copy writing of Jim Falloon | Point Publications. And there are new faces in the crowd like Ken Hejduk | Little Jacket [http://www.little-jacket.com] Fort Collins office, and photographer Darren Mahuron | Summit Studios [http://www.summitstyle.com] that are creating pure beauty.
We have had some great design projects rolling through the studio of Toolbox Creative, too. Current big winners include the Fort Collins Museum of Contemporary Art's Studio Tour calendar, and the upcoming Culture Guide for the 2007 AIGA National Conference being held in Denver.

Notable happenings: Toolbox Creative is hosting our semi-monthly Art Party this Friday, August 17th starting at 5pm. We are featuring the work of local water color artist Bonnie Terrill. Stop by for some art, chocolate and libations.
